Module resets by mail or at our Houston shop; airbag replacement and SRS diagnostics at the shop.
Vehicle was in an accident, do I have to purchase a new air bag module?
No need to buy a new one. Simply clear your original airbag module of any crash codes. Reusing your original module could save you hundreds of dollars. Purchase a module reset service here. The only time you may have to purchase a new one is in the event that the vehicle has been in a flood, or if the module has corrosion.
Please note: a module reset does not guarantee that the warning light goes out. If the light stays on, another part of the airbag system — an airbag, seat belt, sensor or connection — still needs attention.
What happens if the airbag light comes on after I receive my module back?
If your airbag light is still on after you install your module, use a scan tool to retrieve the codes. Since the airbag module is reading all airbags, seat belts, and sensors, it’s possible that one of these components is not properly connected. Email us with pictures of the codes if you need further assistance.

Can deployed airbags be repaired?

Which vehicles do you work on?
We work with most makes and models. Please contact us before purchasing if your vehicle is older than 2005.
Seat belts
Seat belt repair by mail or at our Houston shop.
How do I know what type of seat belt I have?
There are three types of seat belts. The type of seat belt is determined by how many connectors it has. A single stage will have one plug. A double stage will have two plugs. A triple stage will have three plugs.
Can a seat belt that locked after an accident be repaired?
We repair locked, jammed, and blown seat belts to restore your vehicle’s safety system — including a seat belt that locked after an accident. Not every seat belt can be repaired: some problems need a complete replacement. If your vehicle was involved in an accident and the seat belt pretensioner is no longer functioning, it’s likely that you will need a complete seat belt replacement.
How much does seat belt repair cost?

Yes! There is a $3 shipping fee. Color samples are free, and you can request as many swatches as you’d like upon availability. View colors →
Mail-in & shipping
Mail-in is for eligible airbag modules and seat belts. On-vehicle services can’t be done by mail.
What do I include in the box?
Please include your name, phone number, vehicle make & model, and year.
What is your turnaround time?
We offer 24-hour turnaround. Please note that we do not open on Saturdays and Sundays. It may take longer in the event that the item was received incomplete or with missing information. Shipping will take approx. 1-5 days depending on carrier and distance.
What Shipping Methods Are Available?
We ship by using UPS Ground and FedEx Ground.
Is there anything to do before I ship a part?
Before you ship: disconnect the battery and follow the safety steps on the product page for your part — airbag module reset or seat belt repair.

Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is needed to visit, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM. Serviceable airbag modules brought in during business hours typically take about an hour. Call ahead if you need a time estimate.
Which services need the vehicle at the shop?
On-vehicle services — ADAS calibration, airbag replacement and SRS diagnostics — are done at our Houston shop. Full-vehicle work is quoted case by case.
What if I live in Houston?
If you’re from the Houston area, we offer pickup or delivery through a third party for an additional fee. You can also visit our shop to drop-off/pickup, to save on shipping.
